Eden Reign Vintage collection is my clothing brand with some other fresh fiji babes. Our collection comes from second-hand warehouses in Fiji. They are fresh off the ship from foreign lands. Europe, USA, Australia. We recycle, upcycle and make newbies from pre-loved material.

In the Pacific we get containers of aid clothing every week. Unfortunately some of the more fancifulcouture, wintery and sheer … don’t really belong in our warm & traditional communities. So when they don’t find new island homes…. they end up as landfill. 😢Which is sad for our paradise. 🌴And sad for the buried treasure.🌟

Eden Reign Vintage, is a collective of Island hunteresses, who spend hours of their spare time, hand-picking the ornate, the designer, the genuineleather, the tassled, the shiny… to salvage and save.

Some of our collection is pre-loved and bound for new love ❤️ Some are brand spanking new with tags and all 🎁🍹

Fashion is a cycle. What goes around comes around. 🤔💡

[ DID YOU KNOW: Globally, we now consume about 80 billion new pieces of clothing every year—400% more than we were consuming just two decades ago. Also, the more we love buying clothes, the more we seem to love either not wearing them or disposing of them! Australians send 85% of the textiles we buy to landfill every year. In fact, Australia is second-largest consumer of new textiles after the US, averaging 27 kilograms of new textiles per annum. We buy it, wear it once or twice, get sick of it—or realise it’s gone out of fashion—and bin it only to begin the cycle all over again.

The environmental impact of this behaviour is HUGE! the clothing and textile industry is depleting non-renewable resources, emitting huge quantities of greenhouses gases and using massive quantities of energy, chemicals and water. The apparel industry accounts for 10% of global carbon emissions and remains the second largest industrial polluter, second only to oil.

The synthetic fibres often favoured by fast fashion brands, such as polyester, nylon and acrylic, are basically a kind of plastic made from petroleum, which means they could take up to a thousand years to biodegrade. ]

SO !!!! Let’s stop always making more and more and more things. Let’s reuse … instead of always recreating. Let’s recycleupcycle and cherish !!!
